Our Pequeñitos program introduces the youngest dancers to the joy of Mexican folklórico in a supportive, engaging, and age-appropriate environment. These classes are taught by our advanced student teachers who have over 10 years of folklórico experience. Classes focus on building a love for dance while developing essential skills that prepare them for future levels.
The Winter 2026 sessions will be held on Thursdays, from January 15-March 19 (No class week of 2/12)
Pequeñitos – Level 1
Time: 4:30 PM – 5:15 PM
Designed for our youngest and newest dancers, this class focuses on:
Basic movement and coordination
Beat recognition and rhythm exercises
Simple folklórico steps through playful activities
Building listening skills and following directions in a group setting
This is not a performing class. Instead, dancers will participate in a small end-of-quarter recital to showcase what they’ve learned to family and friends.
