Joyas Mestizas Performs...

Joyas Mestizas performs 40 to 50 times a year for a variety of public and private events. Performances range from 30 minutes to 2 hours long. May, September and December are the busiest months. Contact our Event Coordinator as early as possible.

Technical Requirements for Performances

We need a private dressing area for costume changes for boys and one for girls. The dressing area for the boys can be smaller. Using the restroom is not appropriate.

Our technical needs are one microphone, a stand and a sound system which also can play CDs and/or cassettes.

Appropriate staging is essential to appreciate the footwork of the dancers. Carpeted area is not recommended. Typically with a 30-minute performance members will change into at least three different costumes to represent the different regions.
